Partners in Health
About Us
Serving the Treasure Valley since 1983
Our Mission
Why are we here?
We are here to study and promote the preservation of life. We resist any thought and avoid any practice which takes away life in any way. We promote patience, a quiet mind, cheerfulness, the proper use of food, drink, medicine and sleep. We promote a healthy work-life balance. We aim toward bringing people to healthy mindsets and thought patterns. We comfort those in distresses of various sorts and protect the innocent. In all this, we recognize the imperfections of our practice and the importance of having therapeutic partnerships with those whom we serve.
Our Providers
Dr. Combs is thrilled to be back in Boise to serve the community he grew up in. After graduating from Boise State, he completed medical school at Pacific Northwest University in Yakima, Washington. He recently finished his family medicine residency in Idaho Falls, Idaho. In practicing medicine, it brings him joy to partner with patients to reach their full potential by using both lifestyle changes and medication. He is a Christian. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids (plus a puppy), biking, skiing, and playing music.
Dr. John Jambura is a longtime resident of Boise and the Intermountain West, having grown up in LaGrande, Oregon and completed his college education at what is now Eastern Oregon University. After medical school at Oregon Health Sciences University and residency in Wichita, Kansas, Dr. Jambura came to Boise, starting Intermountain Pediatric Clinic in 1983. He is now our senior physician at Partners in Health, looking forward to contributing his talents to us for many years to come. Outside of medicine, his major passion is music.
